The Seed Functional Ecology School provides an up-to-date theoretical background and the practical laboratory and statistical skills needed for the measurement, analysis and reporting of seed functional studies linked to three main functions: dispersal, persistence and establishment.
The school aims to educate the next generation of plant ecologists to include regeneration traits in their current and future research, and to facilitate the further development of plant functional trait ecology into new areas.
Where: due to COVID-19 restrictions, the school will be held online, providing lectures from rooms and laboratories of the Department of Earth and Environmental Science – Section Botanic Garden, University of Pavia (Via S. Epifanio 14, 27100 Pavia, Italy) and the seed company ISI Sementi (Frazione Ponte Ghiara, 8/a 43036 FIDENZA, Parma)
When: 25-29th Jan 2021 – Every day from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (CET), with 1 h lunch break.
